Asphalt Repairs

After years of wear and tear, your asphalt driveway or blacktop may need a few minor repairs. We are experts at this type of maintenance, which can include the use of emulsified liquids, plastic fillers, and/or solid cold-patches.

Keep in mind; however, if you notice impressions left by car tires that have been parked overnight or heaving, tilting, or cracking in cold weather these are more serious conditions. In these cases a new driveway may be required as these conditions indicate poor construction or poor drainage.

Petromat Overlays

Cracked pavements can lead to water being trapped and saturated into sub-grade soils, creating increased damages to the pavement surface. However, since petromat is a special type of polypropylene material it will significantly reduce the deterioration of surface pavement. In addition to being cost effective, the petromat overlay will act as a moisture barrier and stress absorbing interlayer enhancing both function and performance.

Seal Coating

A seal coat will seal asphalt pavement preventing oxidation and erosion of the top layers of asphalt. Since the seal coat will replace fine particles lost over time, this will also help avoid small cracks from turning into larger cracks and prevent water damage in the base material.

After laying new pavement, it is recommended that the pavement be given 6-12 months to cure before beginning seal coating. Also, seal coating should be reapplied every 3-4 years or as necessary, as this will prevent against larger structural damages.

Pavement Marking (Striping)

Pavement marking or striping helps to provide significant visual cues and definition, as seen with traffic controls, hazard markings, edge of roadway markings, turn symbols, etc. It is important to have an effective team working on your pavement markings; and, at Pav-Kote we ensure that you have the proper survey, layout and location for all your pavement marking needs.

New Pavement

In order to promote successful pavement performance we, at Pav-Kote, will first develop a design plan, which will help to create a stable base structure. At this point, we will then begin installing the selected pavement type. The duration of the process will depend on the size and scope of the area requiring pavement, but our efficient team will ensure that your pavement needs are completed with the highest quality of workmanship.

Concrete

Concrete is one of the oldest and most widely used construction materials, as it is environmentally friendly and provides a range of surface finishes, flexibility in shape and form, durability, and fire resistance. Once we have determined the general layout of your project and type of concrete to be used, we will begin laying the concrete foundation and ensure that the concrete is level, has the proper thickness, and uses an optimal grade.

Handicap Upgrades

There are state mandated ADA regulations which determine the required number of handicapped parking spaces as well as the format of pavement markings or striping. At Pav-Kote, we have a thorough understanding of these regulations and will assist with handicap upgrades to ensure your business is always within legal standards.

Signage

Proper signage is vital when trying to provide others with clear visual cues. We specialize in street signage, informational signage, and commercial signage among many others.
